Assessment: Our potty training service begins with an initial assessment that typically takes 2-3 hours. During this session, we'll discuss your child's readiness for potty training, review your goals and expectations, and look at the baseline or starting point for your child.
Personalized Plan - Based on the information gathered during the assessment, our experts will develop a customized potty training plan specifically tailored to your child. This plan will outline the steps to be followed, including establishing routines, introducing rewards, and addressing any challenges that may arise. The personalized plan includes the following:
Prevention Measures - A list of things we recommend doing before the kiddo goes potty
Reinforcement schedules - A schedule of how often to reinforce, when to fade the reinforcement, how to fade it and use of differential reinforcement
Data to collect - A list of data to collect after each elimination/bowel movement. This is not rigorous and should only take 30 seconds to write down each time
Set procedure for accidents - A set of steps to follow when your child has an accident
In-Home Parent Training Sessions - We will provide in-home potty training sessions, where our experts will work directly with you and your child in a familiar and comfortable environment. These sessions are designed to provide hands-on guidance and support, ensuring a smooth transition from diapers to using the toilet. Sessions are typically every 2 weeks for roughly 1.5 hours per session and a maximum of 4 sessions.
Ongoing Support: Our commitment to your success doesn't end after the in-home sessions. We offer ongoing support via phone, email, or scheduled follow-up sessions to address any concerns or questions that may arise during or after the training.
Our Costs
Price - $1,500
Includes - Our price includes all of the services above and up to 2 hours of ongoing support. If additional ongoing support is required, parents may choose to utilize our BCBAs at a rate of $125/hr.
